- Does anyone use a Zip drive with an Expansion Systems DataFlyer
- SCSI controller? I am having some problems...
-
- I can mount it (I used a PC MountList from Aminet and commented
- out the FileSystem and DosType lines). However, HDToolBox does
- not recognize the drive - as a matter of fact, when I run HDToolBox
- on the "ExpSys.device" it shows two harddisks that don't exist???
-
- Also, I tried SCSIMounter, and it sees the Zip and also a CD that I
- have on the DataFlyer:
- Units 1-4 = <error reading device>
- 5 IOMEGA ZIP 100 D.0 97 M ready
- 6 NEC CD-ROM DRIVE:501 2.3 509 M ready
- But if I try to mount the Zip, I get "Error: Invalid Rigid Disk Block".
-
- Lastly, HDBackup doesn't work with the Zip either - if I mount the Zip
- from a MountList, and add the ToolType "DEV=ZIP:", when I try to
- backup anything it just continually puts up a requester saying, "Load
- volume 1 into ZIP:".
-
- Any help would be appreciated :)
-
- TIA,
